A 20ft standard container is roughly six metres long. It gives you a useful storage footprint without needing the long placement area of a 40ft unit. Allow room beyond the doors for loading, and separate space for the delivery vehicle.

Measure your largest item against the door opening, not just the internal width. Shelving and a clear walkway reduce the floor area available for storage.
